For most of us, electricity is simply a part of life: So much so that we rarely reflect upon where it comes from or the services that are provided thanks to electric power. For a hospital, electricity is a vital component to building and maintaining a functional health facility. Electricity is needed for lighting, vaccine refrigerators, ultra-sound and X-ray machines, and much needed medical equipment that might be used for life saving surgeries, birthing children, or vaccinations.
We know that everyone has different needs and obligations; that's why we have created JOFD.com. It asks for the same sacrifice from everyone, relatively speaking- Just one day. If you are unable to donate right now, for whatever reason, maybe buy a T-shirt and/or send the link of this site to some people who you think would be interested and able to help. It's all about intention.
